The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly formed in 1921, had its first meeting on 9th January 1921 at Fort St. George. Right from its formation till the present 16th Assembly, between the constitution and dissolution of house, each year several sessions are held and the proceedings of the houses during these sessions are documented, catalogued, and archived. This Project aims to convert the physical records available in various forms and formats, into electronic format with indexing, so as to manage and store the records in a secure manner. This electronic management of the records and launch of this web portal will facilitate the Public to access the records in an efficient manner.
